Environmental stewardship refers to the responsible use and protection of the natural environment through conservation and sustainable practices. Ember Arts embraces these principles and seeks to grant all the living creatures who inhabit these spaces the respect and care that they deserve.
As settlers, we owe an enormous debt of gratitude to the Mi'kmaq peoples, as they were and continue to be the original stewards of this land and the waters contained within it. The lessons we continue to learn are in no small way indebted to the wisdom and care that indigenous peoples have embodied for thousands of years within the territory of Mi'kma'ki. 
Our goal is to help build healthy, resilient forests and waterways as part of the learning and creative process.
